Yaana Gupta (born Jana Synková, on April 23rd, 1979), is an Indian Bollywood actress-model-singer-writer. Born in Czech Republic, Yaana has been modeling since the age of 16, in the fashion cities of Europe and Asia. In 1997 she left for Japan, where she modeled for brands such as Shue-mura, Sony, Toyota, Shiseido and others.In 2000 her restless spirit took her to India to visit Osho’s meditation ashram in Pune. It was there, she fell in love with Punjabi artist Satyakam Gupta, and soon after that, they got married.
